что такое "вата"

статья от декабря 11 года. То, как в 2014 году население РФ среагировало на слово "фашист" (а фашист, как известно - это любой, выступающий против советской власти), на практике подтверждает тезис о "прошивке мозгов" (mental software).

Тезисно
 - вместо того, чтобы демонтировать советское наследие в виде диктаторских властных институтов, народ (или новые элиты) (само)устранились от реформирования государства, что совершенно неудивительно и собственно следует из природы того самого советского наследия,
 - все институты ельцинского периода, начиная с "конституции", будучи просто фанеркой, которой прикрывалась диктатура, закономерно рассыпались в прах, как только того захотела Партия,
 - реставрация советского наследия в его самых идиотскихъ проявлениях идет полным ходом и проявляется в т.ч. и в "элитных" товарных предложениях ("элитный антикор"),
 - ко всем прелестям советского периода новый режим добавил и много всего нового, соответственно, новый советский человек сильно отличается от старого не в лучшую сторону.

Можно сделать вывод, что нынешняя "вата" - это очень надолго, поскольку довольно-таки очевидно, что реформировать советские институты попросту никому не под силу.

More important, the Soviet mental software has proved much more durable than the ideology itself. When, in 1989, a group of sociologists led by Yuri Levada began to study what they called Soviet Man, an artificial construct of doublethink, paternalism, suspicion and isolationism, they thought he was vanishing. Over the next 20 years they realised that Homo sovieticus had mutated and reproduced, acquiring, along the way, new characteristics such as cynicism and aggression. This is not some genetic legacy, but the result of institutional restrictions and the skewed economic and moral stimuli propagated by the Kremlin.

This mental software was not a generational feature...
